October, and Ron takes fish out of the Deerfield, and Westfield on a DRY FLY. He told me thats the way they do it in OR.

People are always asking what size rod and reel combo for what type of fish.
I found this #3 weight might be a little light for a 6 to 7 lb Blue Fish. But very exciting!

Steve & Rex Limited out in 2 hrs on Stripers 31"- 38" (BLUE FISH BEWARE)

LOOK CLOSE It's not that I took a bad Photo, There was that much winged activity on the Deerfield in the evening, howevere the river was two hours late in going down. But as soon as it did the fish started popping like popcorn. We got a Brookie and a Bow in 40 minutes.

Joe here is a nymph maniac if he doesn’t see a fish rising he’s on the bottom doing what he does best. This fish was so hungry he was trying to eat the net.
The Tuna have avoided me for another year, but the Stripers and Blues were a lot of fun as you can see in these Photos.
Thanks
REX
